Mining

Mining electrical work demands a combination of HV capability, hazardous area expertise and the operational discipline to work safely and efficiently in environments where the consequences of errors are severe. We bring all three.

Overview

Mining operations place unique demands on electrical contractors. The electrical infrastructure spans surface substations, HV distribution networks, processing plant MCCs with large drive installations, and — in underground operations — complex trailing cable systems with specialist HV reeler substations. The environment is harsh, the equipment is heavy-duty, and the safety requirements are stringent.

Reprise Electrical has the experience and technical capability to deliver electrical works on mining projects and operating mine sites. Our HV-authorised personnel understand the specific requirements of mining electrical infrastructure. Our hazardous area-trained teams can work in classified areas on surface and underground. Our shutdown teams mobilise efficiently and execute within tight maintenance windows.

We understand that on a mine site, production is the priority and downtime is costly. We plan our work to minimise disruption to operations, communicate clearly with the mine electrical team, and deliver work that the facility team can maintain confidently after we have gone.
