Renewable Energy

The energy transition is driving some of the largest electrical construction projects in a generation. We bring HV capability and grid connection experience to solar, wind and storage projects across New South Wales.

Overview

Renewable energy construction — solar farms, wind projects and battery storage — demands a combination of HV electrical capability, grid connection expertise and an understanding of the regulatory framework governing connection to the national electricity market. These are not standard commercial construction projects; they require specialists.

Reprise Electrical has the HV capability and grid interface experience to deliver the electrical scope on renewable energy projects from DC string wiring through to the grid connection substation. We work within the AER, AEMO and network authority frameworks that govern connection of generation assets to the network.

Our commissioning teams coordinate with network authorities, AEMO and project owners to execute the commissioning programme, complete the protection testing required for network connection, and produce the documentation required for final energisation approval.
