Commissioning & Testing

The final step before handover. Commissioning validates that every system performs as designed, every protection device operates correctly, and the client receives a complete, compliant installation with full documentation.

Overview

Commissioning is the structured process of verifying that an electrical installation meets the design intent, the relevant Australian standards, and the client's operational requirements. It begins before installation starts — with the development of an Inspection Test Plan that defines every test point, hold point, and witness requirement across the project.

Reprise Electrical manages commissioning as an integrated part of the construction process rather than a final activity. Our project engineers maintain the ITP throughout the project, ensuring that tests are carried out at the right time in the build sequence — not left to the final week before practical completion.

At handover, we produce a complete package of as-built documentation, compliance certificates, O&M manuals, and test records — formatted to meet the requirements of the certifier, building owner and facilities manager.
