Building Management Systems

A well-configured BMS reduces energy consumption, extends equipment life and gives facility managers real-time visibility of every building system. We design, program and commission BMS solutions that are built to perform over the long term.

Overview

The building management system is the intelligent layer that coordinates HVAC, lighting, energy metering and a range of other building services to deliver comfort, safety and energy efficiency. A BMS that is well-programmed and properly commissioned can reduce a building's energy consumption significantly — and a BMS that is poorly configured or never properly commissioned can waste energy continuously for years.

Reprise Electrical delivers BMS projects with a focus on control sequence quality, commissioning completeness and operator usability. We develop control sequences from the mechanical engineer's design intent, program to a consistent standard, and commission using logged data to verify that sequences are performing as designed — not just that switches are connected.

We have experience across major BMS platforms including Honeywell, Johnson Controls Metasys, Schneider EcoStruxure, Siemens Desigo and Distech Controls. For Green Star and NABERS submissions, we understand the BMS evidence requirements and build them into our configuration and commissioning process.

Scope of Works

  • BMS architecture design and system selection

  • DDC controller programming and configuration

  • HVAC control sequences — AHUs, FCUs, chillers, cooling towers

  • Lighting control integration — DALI, KNX and relay-based

  • Energy metering and sub-metering integration

  • Lift and essential services monitoring integration

  • Fire system and access control status monitoring

  • Fault detection and diagnostics (FDD) configuration

  • Web-based operator interface and mobile access setup

  • Integration with tenant sub-metering portals

  • Commissioning and seasonal trending verification

  • Green Star and NABERS BMS compliance support
